The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) will be hosting our annual “Pig Out for Polio” fundraiser on Sunday, October 20th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Serbian Centre. The evening will include special guest speakers, local dignitaries and live entertainment. We are expecting between 250 and 300 guests to join us. To top it off, the festive menu includes cheese pita (burek) as an appetiser, BBQ piglet, BBQ chicken, famous Serbian Centre country style potatoes, pasta, garden salad and vegan options by request. Dessert is complete with a Tim Hortons coffee corner and pastries.
Our 2024 goal is to raise $15,000 through fundraising, donations and generous sponsorships from local community members such as yourself. These funds are matched by the Rotary International Foundation Fund and then further matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In fact, in 2023, we were able to forward $31,762 to Rotary International and the World Health Organization.
